QuickTime Movie Set To Launch QuickTime Player

These first two examples demonstrate using QuickTimereference movies, poster frames, <embed> tags, alternates, "true" streaming and "progressive" downloading. Both versions have three alternates, which are selected based on the viewers QuickTime "Connection Speed" preference.

2. DUAL ISDN 100 kilobit/sec "true" stream 240 x 180
8 frames/second
3. 56K OR LESS 80 kilobit/sec "progressive" download 240 x 180

QuickTime Live Stream Embedded In A Page

This example demonstrates a live stream embedded in a page. When the live stream is not available, a "placeholder" movie is left in it's place.

This example demonstrates the use of a ".ram" file to link to a live stream.
